Vida Stout Scholarship at UoC in New Zealand, 2020 – This scholarship supports students studying in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Canterbury for the degree of PhD in the areas of limnology or environmental science, preferably of the South Island. The scholarship may be held by only one recipient at a time, and is therefore not available every year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the funding, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a previous year degree.
  • Applicants studying limnology will be given preference.

Award

All eligible candidates will receive the award of $16,000 per annum for a doctoral degree program at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
